Opening hours for the public will be announced in due course, but we are not planning any at this time.

The longevity and projection of the fragrance depends entirely on the composition you choose.

In general, blending a perfume to make it last requires a strong base essence.

- resin

- ambergris

- oud

- tonka bean

- vanilla

- wood species (cedar, cypress, balsam fir...)

- patchouli

- oak moss, etc.

but also some flowers and herbs such as:

- osmanthus (smells like apricots)

- violet

- Lavender Absolute

- Jasmine Absolue, etc.

However, an important element influencing the longevity of a perfume is the overall composition, how the ingredients and your musk fit together.

Yes . At Atelier Of Senses, because you mix your own perfume, you can use whatever you want and as much as you want.

According to IFRA (International Fragrance Association), it would not be possible to sell a finished perfume made from, for example, only 100% oud and Damascus rose. (Honestly, these essences in particular are so expensive that few people could even afford such a perfume)

The main reasons for the IFRA restrictions:

- environmental impact (large-scale production would rob the planet)

- allergy to natural oils in high concentration

- photosensitivity (e.g. citrus fruits)

- toxicity when ingested (natural EOs simply have to be careful)

*All Essential Oils are diluted in perfumery alcohol for safety reasons. This allows their fragrance to fully develop and makes mixing perfume easier and safer for your nose.

The choice of essences is up to you, but I will of course advise you on the concentration and effects of individual EOs.
